May 11--Add hip-hop artist to the list of roles "Jane the Virgin" star Gina Rodriguez has embraced.
Rodriguez, who grew up in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side, wore dreadlocks and a grill to transform into Lil Wayne to perform his 2008 single "A Milli" on Thursday's episode of "Lip Sync Battle."
Rodriguez, 31, faces "That '70s Show" star Wilmer Valderrama, who channels the Backstreet Boys. The battle is set to air at 9 p.m. on the Spike network.
