BRIEF: Giant Pac-Man game takes over downtown L.A. intersection

March 21--Brilliant street art or crafty guerrilla marketing?

Pac-Man took over the intersection of 7th and Imperial streets in the downtown L.A. Arts District. The street became a tableau for a snapshot of the classic video game, complete with the various characters and the "game over" message on a telephone poll.

It was unclear who was responsible for the street art. But it does come amid the release of a new trailer for the 1980s video game movie "Pixels."
