BRIEF: Gerard Butler filming movie on Michigan Avenue

Dec. 16--Gerard Butler filmed his new movie "The Headhunter's Calling" on Michigan Avenue near the Tribune Tower Wednesday morning.

Butler, 46, was spotted wearing a suit as he was filmed crossing Michigan Avenue in the rain.

The movie, a workplace drama directed by Mark Williams and starring Willem Dafoe, Alison Brie and Gretchen Mol, is slated to be released next year.

The four-day shoot is expected to wrap up Wednesday, according to the Chicago Film Office. The movie was also shot in Toronto.

Butler also starred in "300," "The Bounty Hunter" and "P.S. I Love You."
