Dec. 22--A 25-year-old man was shot to death on the same block he lives on late Monday evening in northwest Indiana.
Johnny Ware suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the 1500 block of West Second Avenue in Gary, where he also resided, according to a statement from the Lake County coroner's office.
Ware was pronounced dead at 11:40 p.m., and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the coroner's office.
No other information was available about the incident.
