Dec. 03--A 45-year-old man was killed in a traffic crash Wednesday evening in Gary, officials said.
Romeo Etienne was involved in a motor vehicle accident at 31st and Martin Luther King Drive, according to the Lake County coroner's office.
Etienne, of the 2200 block of Georgia Street in Gary, died of a blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at 8 p.m., according to the coroner's office.
No other information about the incident was immediately available.
