Oct. 29--Garden Grove authorities are searching for potential additional victims of a man arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman he met on Craigslist.
Lt. Ben Stauffer said Tuesday that the 31-year-old Garden Grove man arranged to meet the victim through a Craigslist ad requesting female companionship. They met in Garden Grove and at some point the man is accused of engaging in an unwanted sexual act with the woman.
He is suspected of sexually assaulting at least two other young women, Stauffer said. Anyone who has information on the other alleged crimes is asked to contact Investigator Steve Heine at (714)741-5422.
Police said they couldn't release the name of the suspect or a photo of him because it could negatively affect their investigation.
