April 22--Fire crews are battling an extra-alarm blaze on Davey Road in Woodridge in the southwest suburbs, according to authorities.
Crews responded to a fire alarm at the building, in the 2500 block of Davey Road, about 5 p.m., according to Carla Clark, executive assistant to the chief of the Lemont Fire Protection District.
"It's a pretty intense fire," she said. "They're probably going to be out there for quite awhile."
The warehouse has a Woodridge address but is within the boundaries of the Lemont Fire Protection District.
