July 14--"Furious 7," the seventh installment of the blockbuster racing movie franchise, will be the title sponsor of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet.
The Sept. 19 race will be called the Furious 7 300, and actor/rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges will serve as grand marshal, riding in the pace car.
Bridges, who has ties to Oak Park, has starred in most of the "Fast and Furious" movies.
