BRIEF: Frank Sinatra Jr. sells in Beverly Crest for $3.8 million

April 07--Frank Sinatra Jr. has sold a house in the Beverly Crest area for $3.8 million.

The Tuscany-inspired multistory villa, built in 2006, centers on a two-story-tall entry with main level formal living and dining rooms, a library and an office. The 7,213 square feet of living space includes six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. An elevator connects to the three-car garage.

A pool with a spa and a patio with a fireplace complete the third of an acre of grounds.

Like his father, legendary crooner Frank Sinatra, he has been a frequent buyer and seller in the Southern California real estate scene.

Sinatra Jr., 71, is a singer, songwriter and conductor with a focus on big band music and classic American songs. He has more than a half-dozen albums including "That Face" from 2006.

His "Sinatra Sings Sinatra" tour will make a stop this summer in the Reno-Tahoe area, where at 19 he was abducted by kidnappers. His father paid $240,000 for his release.

Sinatra Jr. bought the Beverly Crest house in 2007 for $4.1 million.

Michele Martin of Teles Properties was the listing agent. Anita Wong of Grandmark Realty represented the buyer.
