Feb. 16--Former Illinois linebacker T.J. Neal announced Tuesday on Twitter that he will play at Auburn to complete his eligibility.
Neal, who has one final season of eligibility remaining, was a two-year starter at Illinois and was among the best defensive players with 109 tackles last season. He will be allowed to play immediately this season due to graduate transfer rules.
"I am excited for this next chapter in my life," he tweeted.
He also considered West Virginia, according to reports.
