March 27--The former Chatsworth headquarters of adult novelties manufacturer Topco Sales was sold for $14.1 million to Los Angeles real estate investment trust Rexford Industrial.
Rexford bought the 154,000-square-foot industrial building at 9401 De Soto Ave. from a Chatsworth limited liability company, according to real estate brokers David Young and Chad Gahr of NAI Capital.
Located near the intersection of De Soto and Plummer Street, 9401 De Soto Ave. is a concrete-tilt-up distribution building that was built on 6.68 acres in 1983.
Rexford said it would make extensive upgrades to the property and return it to the market for lease. Topco has relocated its operations to Simi Valley.
