BRIEF: Former Bears OC Aaron Kromer, DC Mel Tucker find new jobs

Jan. 27--Former Bears offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer and defensive coordinator Mel Tucker weren't out of work for long.

Kromer will join Rex Ryan's staff as the Bills offensive line coach. Kromer was fired from the Bears at the end of the season after he admitted he was a source behind an NFL report critical of quarterback Jay Cutler.

According to Sports Illustrated, Tucker is Alabama's new secondary coach under coach Nick Saban. Tucker coached the LSU defensive backs under Saban in 2000.

Tucker spent the past 10 years in the NFL, coached at Ohio State from 2001-04 and at Miami (Ohio) in 1999, and was a graduate assistant at Michigan State from 1997-98.

The Bears hired Adam Gase to replace Kromer and Vic Fangio to replace Tucker as part of John Fox's new coaching staff.
