BRIEF: Foggy weather grounds Southwest flights at Midway

March 14--Southwest Airlines has canceled all flights into and out of Midway International Airport through mid-morning Monday, a spokeswoman said.

The airline has canceled all Midway flights starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 9 a.m. Monday, a total of about 50 flights, said Emily Samuels, a Southwest spokeswoman.

The airline has cancelled a total of more than 120 flights into and out of Midway on Sunday, according to Samuels and FlightAware.com.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Chicago's lakefront and Lake Michigan, and advised that much of the area was expected to be foggy, with some dense foggy, overnight.
