Jan. 07--The upcoming pre-Broadway tryout, "First Wives Club," announced its full cast on Wednesday morning.
Based on Olivia Goldsmith's novel and the popular 1996 comedy film, the musical with a score by Motown songwriting team Holland-Dozier-Holland and a book by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason will star the previously announced Faith Prince, Carmen Cusack and Christine Sherrill as Brenda, Annie and Elise, respectively.
Their ex-husbands will be portrayed by Sean Cullen, Mike McGowan and Gregg Edelman.
The musical will also feature Cameron Clifford, Ethan Khusidman and Patrick Richwood with Lindsey Alley, Jim Borstelmann, Terron Brooks, Patch David, Michelle Duffy, Emilee Dupre, Rachel Fairbanks, Aaron Gordon, Tessa Grady, Dan Horn, Patrick Oliver Jones, Amy Hillner Larsen, Tara Macri, Paul Nygro, Jeffrey Pew, Rebecca Poff, Brett Thiele, Kara Tremel, Morgan Weed and Alison Woods.
Simon Phillips directs the production, Kenny Seymour is musical director and David Connolly will provide choreography.
"First Wives Club" begins performances at the Oriental Theatre, 24 W. Randolph St., on Feb. 17 and runs through March 29.
