May 20--A firefighter was hurt and eight people were displaced after a fire broke out in the Lakeview neighborhood on the North Side early Friday morning.
The blaze started on the back porches of a two-and-a-half-story home in the 1000 block of West Cornelia Avenue sometime around 5 a.m., according to the Chicago Fire Department media officials.
A firefighter was taken to a hospital with a minor injury, and eight adults were displaced as a result of the fire, according to officials.
The fire is still under investigation, and no other information was immediately available.
