BRIEF: Fire in Gresham displaces residents early Sunday

Nov. 02--A fire broke out in a residence in the Gresham neighborhood on the Far South Side early Sunday, displacing several people, authorities said.

The fire started around midnight in the 8200 block of South Winchester Avenue, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Will Knight said.

No one was injured, Knight said.

No other details were immediately available about the incident.
