June 02--FBI officials are searching for a man who is suspected of attempting to rob a Gold Coast bank Wednesday and trying to rob another bank in the same neighborhood earlier in the day.
The man attempted to rob the Citibank branch at 1 E. Oak St. at 4:45 p.m., according to FBI officials. Then he went to the PNC Bank branch at 877 N. Rush St. and robbed it.
The suspect is described as a bald white man wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
