BRIEF: FBI looking for suspect in 6 bank robbery cases in L.A. County

Dec. 23--The FBI is searching for a suspect they say robbed or tried to rob six Los Angeles County banks in 10 days.

Investigators have linked Gregory Lynn Cross, 58, to the string of incidents that started Dec. 13, according to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.

A federal warrant has been issued for Cross' arrest in connection with the robbery of two Chase bank branches in Burbank and another in Long Beach, she said.

The FBI said he also attempted to rob a Chase branch in El Segundo and two Wells Fargo Bank branches in Santa Fe Springs and Manhattan Beach.

Anyone who knows about Cross' whereabouts is urged to call the FBI at 310-477-6565, or 911.
