BRIEF: Faye Dunaway parts with her compound in West Hollywood

Feb. 13--Renowned actress Faye Dunaway has sold her compound in West Hollywood for $1.45 million.

Hidden from view behind tall hedges and walls and set on a corner lot, the compound consists of two detached units built in 1925, a communal courtyard with an outdoor fireplace and separate gated entrances.

The 2,437 square feet of combined living space features ash-wood flooring and arched doorways. Each unit features formal living and dining rooms and an updated kitchen.

One of the units has fireplaces in the living room and master suite for a total of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The other unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Dunaway, 74, received Oscar nominations for her acting in "Bonnie and Clyde" (1967) and "Chinatown" (1974). She won the best actress Academy Award for "Network" (1976).

The property previously changed hands in 1998 for $315,000, public records show.

Mauricio Umansky and Farrah Aldjufrie of the Agency were the listing agents.
