Oct. 13--"Johanna Faustus," a new adaptation of Marlowe's morality tale by artistic director Sean Graney and Emily Casey, will close out The Hypocrites' 2015-16 season.
Graney and Casey's production will put a modern spin on the story of a soul sold to the devil, with a female Faust and six actors simultaneously serving as the design team.
Graney recently helmed the Jeff Award-winning "All Our Tragic," in which Emily Casey performed.
The cast includes Breon Arzell, Kate Carson-Groner, Tien Doman, Dana Omar, Sasha Smith, Zeke Sulkes and Lauren Vogel.
"Johanna Faustus" plays May 20-29 at The Den Theatre, 1329 N. Milwaukee Ave.
