BRIEF: Family escapes fire in Romeoville home

Nov. 07--A house fire in southwest suburban Romeoville displaced three people early Friday, authorities said.

Around 3 a.m., Romeoville Fire Department personnel worked on extinguishing the fire, which broke out at a two-story house in the 600 block of Superior Drive, according to Romeoville fire officials.

Three people were evacuated from the house, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, fire officials said.

No other details were immediately available.
