March 18--Bing Predicts has the recipe for Yale to pull off a second straight NCAA tournament upset on Saturday against Duke: Keep the Blue Devils under 69 points, force more than 13 turnovers and allow fewer than 10 free throws.
Even then, the prediction engine gives Duke a 67 percent chance of winning. But what does it know? Bing gave Baylor a 63 percent chance of beating the Bulldogs.
Here's one solid prediction: Yale versus Duke will capture basketball fans' curiosity for reasons on and off the court. It's an unsual pairing of schools known as much for their highbrow (dare say even snobbish?) reputations as they are for their exploits on the hardwood.
