BRIEF: Ex-Cicchetti chefs Sheerin, Jordan collaborate on NYE pop-up

Dec. 08--For those who have missed the work of chef Michael Sheerin and pastry chef Sarah Jordan since Cicchetti restaurant closed earlier this year, there's good news.

The two will collaborate on a New Year's Eve dinner at Locallective Loft (1257 N. Milwaukee Ave.) to benefit Aspire, a nonprofit that supports successes of children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Ticket holders will be able to pop corks at a pop-up dinner.

The event, which also will include local art, live jazz and dancing, will center on a five-course dinner by Sheerin and Jordan. There also will be cocktails by Drumbar's Whitney Morrow, open bar, midnight toast and late-night ramen tasting.

An all-evening ticket, $200, admits guests at 7 p.m. for a cocktail hour, live jazz, dinner with wine and cocktail pairings, open bar, deejay and dancing, midnight toast and late-night ramen tasting. Or you could opt for the after-meal ticket, $100, which omits dinner but admits you at 10:30 p.m. for open bar, deejay, midnight toast and ramen tasting.
