April 19--SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The biggest questions going into Saturday's Notre Dame spring game: QB or not QB? Or two QBs?
The annual Blue-Gold game won't determine a winner in the competition between Everett Golson and Malik Zaire. But it could have some influence on coach Brian Kelly's decision, which he said won't come until fall practice.
"They will continue to compete into August, no question," Kelly said earlier this month.
Zaire started in place of Golson in the Music City Bowl and helped lead the Irish to a 31-28 victory against LSU.
Golson was benched during the regular-season finale against USC. The Irish lost four in a row and five of six before the win over LSU.
Both quarterbacks will be live in the first half of Saturday's scrimmage, which begins at 11:30 a.m. (NBCSN).
The game was moved to the LaBar Practice Complex because of construction around Notre Dame Stadium.
