Nov. 16--Notre Dame came away with a few injuries in Saturday's 43-40 overtime loss to Northwestern, including one to quarterback Everett Golson.
Golson suffered an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder, coach Brian Kelly said Sunday.
Golson still felt good enough to throw Sunday, Kelly said. Golson did not leave Saturday's game but could be seen on the sideline stretching his shoulder.
At various points in the game, backup Malik Zaire warmed up.
Defensive linemen Sheldon Day and Daniel Cage both suffered sprained knees, Kelly said. They were having MRIs on Sunday to determine the severity of each.
