April 18--"Empire" co-stars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers tied the knot last week, Gealey confirmed Sunday on Instagram.
"We're married! God is so good. To all who have extended congrats and well wishes, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts," Gealey wrote.
Gealey, who lived in Chicago when she auditioned for "Empire," reportedly wed Byers Thursday on Grand Cayman Island. Gealey confirmed the engagement in October on "FABLife."
Gealey, 31, plays Anika Calhoun, who was once engaged to hip-hop mogul Lucious Lyon (played by Terrence Howard) in the Chicago-filmed "Empire." Byers, 32, plays Andre Lyon, Lucious' oldest son.
