BRIEF: Elena Delle Donne to return from ankle injury against Storm Friday

Aug. 14--Elena Delle Donne will return from an ankle injury to play against the Seattle Storm Friday night, according team officials. The Sky star sat out the team's loss to the New York Liberty on Tuesday after experiencing after swelling a day after she sprained her ankle during Sunday's win over the Phoenix Mercury.

Delle Donne will play in Seattle for the first time in her three-year career. She missed previous games because of a concussion (2013) and a flare-up of Lyme disease (2014).

The Sky will face former Notre Dame star Jewell Loyd for the first time. The Storm drafted Loyd first overall in April.
