BRIEF: Elderly man with dementia missing from Englewood neighborhood

April 17--Police are asking for the public's help finding a 74-year-old man who has late stage Alzheimer's Disease, and went missing Saturday afternoon on the South Side.

Charles Hatley was last seen about 5:30 p.m. in the area of the 6600 block of South Stewart Avenue. He was wearing a brown T-shirt, a blue and white flannel jacket, black pants and black shoes, police said.

He is described as a black man with a dark complexion, gray hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 1 inches tall, and weighs about 120 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Chicago Police Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
