BRIEF: Elderly man with Alzheimer's missing from South Side

Feb. 28--Police are asking for help in finding an 83-year-old missing man who has Alzheimer's.

James Moore was last seen at 4:45 p.m. Saturday near a bus station at 95th Street and the Dan Ryan Expressway intersection, according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department.

Moore is 5-foot-9 and weighs about 174 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and a false left eye, the release said. He also has a medium complexion and a full gray beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue Cubs baseball hat, a tan, knee-length jacket with a hood over a gray sweater, blue jeans and white gym shoes, according to the release.

Anyone with information on Moore's whereabouts should contact Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
