BRIEF: East Garfield Park man wounded during shooting

March 30--A 33-year-old man was shot multiple times but is in good condition at a West Side hospital Sunday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded to the 3800 block of West Gladys Avenue in the city's East Garfield Park neighborhood about 4:35 p.m., police said.

The victim, who lives in the area, was inside a parked car when someone in a passing vehicle fired shots, hitting him a couple of times in the upper back and shoulder, police said.

The victim "relocated," to the 3800 block of West Wilcox Street where paramedics found him and took him to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, poice said.

No additional details were available.
