Dec. 20--A 39-year-old man was fatally shot in Gary, Ind., early Saturday, authorities said.
Joshua Martin, of the 3800 block of Huron Court in East Chicago, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the 5600 block of East Fourth Avenue in Gary, according to a statement from the Lake County coroner's office.
Martin was pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m., according to the statement. His death was ruled a homicide.
No other details about the shooting were immediately available.
