BRIEF: Eamonn Walker to star in 'Between Riverside and Crazy' at Steppenwolf

April 12--Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced the complete cast for Stephen Adly Guirgis' "Between Riverside and Crazy."

The cast features Eamonn Walker, a current star of NBC's "Chicago Fire," as Pops and ensemble member James Vincent Meredith as Junior, with ensemble member Tim Hopper as Lieutenant Caro, Audrey Francis as Detective O'Connor, Victor Almanzar as Oswaldo, Elena Flores as Lulu and Lily Mojekwu as Church Lady. Ensemble member Yasen Peyankov will direct.

Guirgis' 2015 Pulitzer Prize-winning dark comedy follows an ex-cop struggling to hold on to his Manhattan rent-controlled apartment.

"Between Riverside and Crazy" runs June 23 through Aug. 21 in the Downstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted St.
