BRIEF: DuPage County coroner's office says shoveling related to three deaths

Feb. 03--Three people died Sunday while shoveling snow, according to the DuPage County coroner's office.

All three were men in their early 60s who were shoveling snow at their homes and collapsed, the coroner reports.

All were transported to hospitals, where they were pronounced dead from heart-related issues, said Charlie Dastych, chief deputy coroner.

"The deaths were not accidental, they were natural," he said.

The men were from Lombard, Winfield and Naperville, he said.
