April 15--Pre-sale tickets for Chicago Gourmet, the city's chic food festival, will be available at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The two-day event takes place Sept. 26-27 at Millennium Park.
At chicagogourmet.org only, tickets will be sold for $135 for one-day admission or $225 for the weekend, plus fees and taxes.
Normally the prices are $170 for the day and $275 for a weekend pass, and tickets often sell quickly. When the pre-sale batch sells out, regularly priced tickets will be available, along Grand Cru tickets. Grand Cru is a special wine and food tasting inside the festival.
This is the eighth year that Bon Appetit Presents Chicago Gourmet will take place.
Tickets for Hamburger Hop, a burger competition that takes places the night before Chicago Gourmet starts, will be sold at a later date.
