April 25--CINCINNATI -- Dexter Fowler's right groin has healed to the point where he will return to the Chicago Cubs' lineup Friday night at Cincinnati.
Fowler's return after missing Thursday's game means that Kris Bryant will return to his original position at third base.
Chris Coghlan also returns to the lineup and will play left field. Coghlan is 8-for-8 lifetime against Reds starter Mike Leake, including a 3-for-3 performance last week at Wrigley Field.
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, no active player is 8-for-8 or better against an active pitcher.
Anthony Rizzo is fourth in the National League with a .471 on-base percentage.
