BRIEF: Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah practice, probable for Celtics game

Nov. 28--Both Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah participated in the Chicago Bulls' Thursday practice in Boston without incident and their availability for Friday's matinee against the Boston Celtics will be made pregame.

Noah missed Tuesday's loss to the Denver Nuggets because of left knee effusion and could miss another after having that knee surgically repaired in the offseason.

Rose started Tuesday night but didn't play in the second half because coach Tom Thibodeau didn't like the way he was moving in trying to finish a back-to-back after missing four games to a strained left hamstring.

Noah, Rose and Kirk Hinrich, who left last week's game against the Sacramento Kings with a chest contusion, were listed as probable for Friday's game.

Taj Gibson, who hasn't played or practiced since spraining his left ankle for the third time in seven months on Nov. 21 in Portland, Ore., was ruled out. He was scheduled to rejoin the Bulls late Thursday.

The Bulls are 2-3 on their season-high, seven-game trip.
