June 29--Free show alert: Demi Lovato is scheduled to perform Friday at Castaways at North Avenue Beach on behalf of 103.5 KISS FM.
The outdoor show is open to all ages and is first come first serve. Click here for info on how to win VIP tickets and a meet-and-greet with Lovato. The 22-year-old pop star and former "X Factor" judge is expected to release her single, "Cool For the Summer," Wednesday.
Chicago's weather has been pretty erratic (this has been the wettest June in Illinois history), but it doesn't appear it will rain on Friday. Of course, that could change.
