BRIEF: Deflategate: NFL reportedly focusing on Patriots locker room attendant

Jan. 26--The NFL is focusing its Deflategate investigation on a New England Patriots locker room attendant, according to Fox Sports.

The sports network reported that there is video showing the attendant taking footballs the Patriots provided before the AFC title game against Indianapolis from the game officials' locker room and into another room at Gillette Stadium before bringing them out to the field.

The NFL is trying to determine whether any wrongdoing by this individual occurred, Fox Sports said.

Patriots Coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady have said they have no idea how 11 of the 12 footballs the team provided for AFC championship game became underinflated.

Underinflation makes it easier for the quarterback to grip the football and throw passes.
