Nov. 16--Definition Theatre Company has announced its 2015-16 season, along with the addition of 6 new ensemble members.
Evan Linder's "Byhalia, Mississippi," a co-production with The New Colony directed by Definition artistic director Tyrone Phillips, runs Jan. 8 -- Feb. 14 and features Kiandra Layne, Jeffrey Freelon, Evan Linder, Liz Sharpe and Cecelia Wingate. The new play follows a self-proclaimed white-trash couple and the unexpected birth of their black child.
Newly named to the ensemble are Owais Ahmed, Carley Cornelius, Martasia Jones, Kiki Layne, Sean Parris and Christopher Sheard.
"Byhalia, Mississippi" will be performed at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave.
