July 17--Adetokunbo Ogundeji has made a name for himself rushing quarterbacks.
But the 6-foot-5, 220-pound senior defensive end from Walled Lake Central High School in Michigan said he rushed his original commitment to Western Michigan before he orally committed to Notre Dame.
"I loved the coaches, the players and it feels like family,' he told the Detroit News in late June of his first commitment. "But I just felt I rushed it."
Ogundeji twice visited the campus in June.
The three-star prospect also had offers from Oregon, Pittsburgh and Rutgers, among others.
He is the Irish's 13th recruit from the Class of 2016.
