BRIEF: David Mamet's 'China Doll' postpones opening

Nov. 09--David Mamet's new Broadway play "China Doll" has postponed its opening night.

Originally slated for a Nov. 19 opening, the production will now open almost two weeks later on Dec. 4.

In "China Doll," long-time Mamet collaborator Al Pacino stars as a billionaire who purchases a plane for his fiancee. Pam MacKinnon directs.

Previews for "China Doll" began on Oct. 21. The limited run is scheduled through Jan. 31.
