July 07--Collaboraction, the Chicago theater company known for its recent devised works responding to the epidemic of gun violence in Chicago, has hired its first executive director, Darcy Addison.
Addison, who has been both an actress and an arts administrator, will be charged with forging new partnerships and otherwise expanding the reach of the company. Hitherto, founding artistic director Anthony Moseley had served as both artistic and executive director of the 19-year-old troupe, which currently performs at the Flat Iron Arts Building in Wicker Park.
