BRIEF: Danny McBride puts his Hollywood penthouse loft up for rent

July 24--Comic actor Danny McBride, known for his role as Kenny Powers on the HBO comedy "Eastbound Down," has listed a penthouse loft in Hollywood for lease at $7,999 a month.

Found atop the Broadway Hollywood building, the one-bedroom unit features 2,149 square feet of open space with dark wood floors, a media room and a kitchen with stainless steel cabinetry. Walls of windows take in views extending from the Capitol Records building to the Hollywood sign.

On the second floor, the bedroom opens to a private deck with an outdoor fireplace. There are two full bathrooms.

Among the building amenities is 24-hour concierge services, a gym and a rooftop deck with cabanas. Two parking spaces come with the unit.

McBride bought the loft in 2008 for $1.435 million, records show. He owns other property in Los Angeles.

McBride, 38, was a creator, writer and lead actor on "Eastbound Down," which concluded in 2013 after four seasons. Among his film credits is "Pineapple Express" (2008), "Your Highness" (2011) and "This Is the End" (2013).

He is set to return to HBO next year in the comedy series "Vice Principals."
