March 14--The Cubs made some roster cuts on Monday, optioning three players to Triple-A Iowa, including first baseman/DH Dan Vogelbach, and assigning four to minor league camp.
Heading to Iowa are Vogelbach and pitchers Eric Jokisch and Andury Acevedo. The four others are pitchers Duane Underwood, Jack Leathersich, Jonathan Pettibone and Armando Rivero.
The Cubs have 56 players remaining in camp.
