BRIEF: Damien Dante Wayans offering up his perch in Hollywood Hills

Feb. 02--Actor-writer-producer Damien Dante Wayans has listed his Hollywood Hills house for sale at $2.2 million.

The Mediterranean-inspired home, built in 1978, features distressed wood floors, extensive wrought-iron railings, high ceilings, interior arches and expansive windows and balconies taking in valley and cityscape views.

Some 3,600 square feet of living space includes a formal dining space, an upgraded kitchen with an eat-at island, an arched-top bar with tile work in the family room, five bedrooms and four bathrooms. French doors open to a balcony that overlooks the backyard.

A swimming pool and spa look out on the mountainsides.

Wayans, 34, is a member of the Wayans family of actors. He appeared last year in the series "Single Ladies," in 2013 on "Second Generation Wayans" and with his uncle Damon Wayans in the film "Mayor Payne." He has written for and worked as a producer for the series "The Underground" and "My Wife and Kids."

The property last changed hands in 2005 for $1.35 million, public records show.

Giselle Ramirez of Rodeo Realty is the listing agent.
