March 02--The work visa issue delaying winger Dale Weise's arrival with the Blackhawks appears to be cleared up because Weise is expected to join the team Wednesday as the Hawks take on the Red Wings.
Weise will not play against the Red Wings, but is likely to play Thursday as the Hawks travel to Boston to take on the Bruins.
The Hawks acquired Weise and winger Tomas Fleischmann from the Canadiens onFriday and while Fleischmann has already made his Hawks debut, Weise had to apply for his American work visa.
Defenseman Christian Ehrhoff, who the Hawks acquired from the Kings for Rob Scuderi, will make his debut against the Red Wings. Corey Crawford will get the start in net.
