BRIEF: Bicyclist, motorcyclist injured in Old Irving Park crash

July 29--A bicyclist and a motorcyclist were injured in a crash in Old Irving Park early Wednesday, police said.

The two men collided in the 4300 block of West Addison Street at 4:35 a.m., said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman, citing preliminary information.

The bicyclist taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and the motorcyclist was taken to Community First Medical Center, authorities said. Both were in critical condition, police said Wednesday afternoon.

The bicyclist was believed to have been revived after becoming unresponsive, according to police, who initially had said the bicyclist had died.

Police did not immediately have information on the ages of those involved.

A stretch of Addison near Milwaukee Avenue was taped off after the crash, and CTA buses were rerouted.
