Nov. 02--Chicago Cubs top catching prospect Willson Contreras and reliever Corey Black were named to play for the East team in the Arizona League Fall League Fall Stars game Saturday night in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Contreras, 23, the Cubs' 2015 minor league player of the year, is batting .302 with three home runs and seven RBIs in 11 games for Mesa. Black, 22, has a 7.11 ERA in six appearances for Mesa.
The White Sox will be represented by pitcher Robinson Leyer and outfielder Adam Engel on the West roster. Leyer, 22, has a 5.40 ERA in five appearances, while Engel, 23, is batting .351 in 11 games.
Cubs infield prospect Jeimer Candelario was one of three players named to the final player vote, which runs through Wednesday.
