Jan. 11--The start of the major league baseball regular season is nearly three months away, but the Chicago White Sox and Cubs announced their spring training workout dates.
The White Sox will hold their first workout for pitchers and catchers Feb. 19 at their Camelback Ranch complex. Cubs pitchers and catchers will hold their first workout at their complex in Mesa the following day.
The White Sox's first full-squad workout will be held on Feb. 23, with the Cubs conducting their first full-squad workout the following day.
