Oct. 15--Winners of the most recent round of the Cubs playoff lottery have been notified by email that they have been selected for the chance to buy tickets to the National League Championship Series games played at Wrigley Field. The online ticket purchase opportunity starts at noon Friday and ends at 11:59 p.m., Cubs officials said.
More than a million fans have registered for a chance to buy single-game postseason tickets, and the ones who were selected have a one-time chance to buy a maximum of four tickets. Being selected in the drawing, however, does not guarantee the opportunity to buy tickets.
Those who didn't win also received emails Wednesday night informing them that their entry will be included in any additional random drawings during the 2015 postseason.
Fans can still register for a chance to buy tickets for potential 2015 World Series games at Wrigley Field. The deadline is noon Friday.
